Quantiferon TB Gold Plus Kit. 6ml blood in dark green (no gel) Lithium Heparin tube. Gently mix by inversion 5-6 times. Keep room temperature for at least 15 minutes. Refrigerate whole blood within 3 hours. Place specimen and requisition in a green specimen transport bag. Refrigerated whole blood specimen must reach the main lab within 48 hours.
